Solid Organ Transplant

 

Melissa Laub, Pharm.D., BCPS

Melissa is a 2016 graduate of the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciennces. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy residency at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN and her PG2 residency in solid organ transplantation at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.   Dr. Laub joined the AU Pharmacy team in Augusta 2018 as a renal transplant pharmacist.  Her practice focuses on the comprehensive care of kidney and pancreas transplant recipients in the pre- and post-transplant settings.  Melissa's clinical interests include solid organ transplant, opportunistic infections, viral infections and international health.  She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the American Society of Transplantation Trainee and Young Faculty Community of Practice as a Member-at-Large and has served on various advisory groups and committees within the American Society of Health-system Pharmacists and American College of Clinical Pharmacy.

Holly Berry, Pharm.D.

 

Holly received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina- South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2015. Following graduation, she completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. Holly recently joined the AU Medical Center at Augusta University pharmacy team in August 2016.  Her practice focuses on providing comprehensive pharmacy care to patients before and after solid organ transplant through the Renal Transplant Clinic. Her career interests include ambulatory care services and patient counseling. Holly is a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP), and Georgia Society of Health System Pharmacists (GSHP).  Holly will be a preceptor-in-training in 2017.
