Dr. Healy was born and raised in Statesboro, GA prior to attending Wake Forest University for an undergraduate degree in Biology. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia to obtain his medical degree. Dr. Healy gained an interest in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine during his Internal Medicine Residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center where he stayed on to complete a fellowship. He is married to Dr. Sara Healy, a medical Endocrinologist, whom also practices at Augusta University Medical Center. They have two children and enjoy cooking, family walks, gardening, and church in their free time.
