  • Research Interests

I have extensive background in studying immune response, specifically the role of regulatory T cells (Tregs) in skull base tumors and brain aneurysms. I completed a 2 year research fellowship during residency at University of California, San Francisco in the translational immunology lab. Regulatory T cells are a subset of CD4+ immune cells which have diverse roles in tumors and inflammatory conditions. My goal is to better understand their role allowing us to come up with innovative treatment options to complement surgical interventions
