Did you know? Problems of the ear, nose and throat are the number-one reason why parents visit a pediatrician. And diagnosing those problems—anything from ear infections to more complicated conditions—is what Pediatric Otolaryngology at West Wheeler specializes in.

Part of the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, Pediatric Otolaryngology at West Wheeler offers a more convenient location with the same specialized care by board-certified pediatric otolaryngologists. We diagnose and care for:

  • Ear infections (both acute and recurrent)
  • Sinusitis
  • Tonsillitis
  • Breathing problems or obstructed breathing
  • Neck masses
  • Voice problems
  • Hearing problems

Because we are part of an academic medical center, your family can also benefit from those resources if additional diagnostic testing is necessary.

Does My Child Need Surgery?

Not always. Sometimes ear infections and other conditions simply need medical interventions, like antibiotics. If your child does require surgery, we will perform the procedure at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, but your pre- and post-operative clinic visits can continue to take place at our West Wheeler location.

All pediatric otolaryngology surgeries take place at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, 1447 Harper St., Augusta, GA 30912.
