VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are seeking clinical and non-clinical volunteers to provide compassionate and inclusive experiences to all community members receiving care at the vaccination clinics.

  • Clinical volunteers must have one of the following designations and will be tasked with drawing up or administering vaccines during the upcoming clinics (RN, LPN, CMA, MD, DO, NP, PA, RPh, PharmD, DD, DMD, AU Medical Student, or AU Nursing Student)
  • Non-Clinical volunteers will be tasked with greeting clinic guests, disinfecting high-use areas, and managing patient traffic flow during the upcoming clinics.

By volunteering, you will be supporting the AU healthcare mission by freeing up our AUHS staff to care for critical needs patients in the medical center.  If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, please complete the AU Health COVID-19 Vaccination Volunteer application. This form will allow you to share your schedule availability and any special skills or certifications that may support this effort.

Apply Now

Once your volunteer application has been processed and confirmed, you will be contacted, based on need, by a member of our team with instructions regarding next steps in the volunteer application process. Training and assistance will be provided for all assigned tasks.

Additional Vaccination Volunteer Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
  • Vaccination clinic volunteers are required to commit to serving at least (4) four-hour shifts over the next 90 days.
  • Volunteers should be comfortable interacting with the public and standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • For the safety and security of our patients, staff, and volunteers, all vaccination clinic volunteers are required to complete a background check, compliance training, and drug screening.

Thank you in advance for your continued commitment to serving our colleagues and neighbors as we come together to make a positive difference in our community.
