Dr. Lanzer grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and has always had a passion for women's health. Dr. Lanzer completed her fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta. She is also a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and went on to residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She specializes in robotic, laparoscopic, and vaginal surgeries for prolapse, and also offers a variety of targeted therapies for urinary incontinence. She is very active with medical student and resident education and is currently serving as Assistant Clerkship Director for Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Lanzer provides personalized, compassionate, and comprehensive care to patients with an emphasis on patient education and understanding pelvic health as it relates to childbirth and aging. She believes in treating pelvic floor disorders with a wholistic approach, including diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes, as well as utilizing a wide variety of both non-surgical and minimally invasive surgical options for her patients.
