Dr. Evan Hiner is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant attending physician at Augusta University Medical Center. He graduated with honors at the American University of the Caribbean Medical School and then completed Internal Medicine Residency as Chief Resident at Ascension Providence Hospital Michigan State University. Here, he also completed his general Cardiology Fellowship with board certifications in Echocardiogram, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular CT Imaging. He then completed further training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant at the University of Illinois Chicago, Advocate Christ Medical Center. He is engaged in medical education and enjoys staying active in the community.

His goal is to provide patients with expert consultative care in both the hospital and clinic- based settings. As we become a team, he looks forward to educating, advising, and advocating for all patients and their families throughout their medical journeys. He considers it is an honor and privilege to be assisting patients towards their ultimate healthcare goals while improving quality of life.
