Edward Villadelgado Agabin, MD

Dr. Agabin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Augusta University. After completing his Bachelors in biology at the University of Florida, Dr. Agabin attended medical school at Ross University before completing his Family Medicine Residency at Augusta University. During his time here, he served as Chief Resident and was awarded with the 2016 MCG Rick Shuman Award and the 2016 GAFP Resident of the Year Award. He is an active member on numerous committees dedicated to quality improvement, residency education, patient care, and electronic health records. Dr. Agabin is also the author of several publications, a national immunization grant proposal recipient, and an avid volunteer for organizations geared towards improving healthcare disparities. His other professional interests include providing healthcare to underserved populations, student education, sports medicine, preventive medicine and acute care. He currently lives with his wife in Augusta, Georgia with the intention to continue a career in academic medicine.
