Provider was under impression I was referred for surgery consult. I was under impression I was being evaluated for chronic pain. Visit questions felt aggressive and unhelpful until xray taken.

This provider barely listened to what I had to say, constantly was cutting me off and never let me finish. Showed disinterest in my concerns and I walked out feeling like my concerns were made up in my head and not real. Provider did not believe that the issues I was having were caused by anything related to his field, despite other providers telling me they were and test results showing that they could be. I felt very defeated leaving the appointment.

PA Wispert was superb!! Extremely smart, very experienced, calm, very likable. He shared that he had a similar situation and the course he took. That made me feel so much better; in addition, he told me what I did NOT have, which was extremely comforting. Top marks for PA Wispert!

I will talk with my pain management doctor and relay advise provided by doctor Whispert. His advice is very logical. He explained my situation as to more treatment versus surgery leaving it up to me and my ability to tolerate my pain.

This appointment was a post op, to remove staples xxx. He did a fantastic job answering my questions and of course removing the staples with as little pain as possible.
