Dr. Athanasiadi was born and raised in Greece. She attended Democritus University in Greece where she also completed a Master’s Degree in Social Psychiatry. She completed residency training at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center where she also served as chief resident. During residency and fellowship, she attended several courses on psychoanalytic psychotherapy and is board certified in Psychiatry.
