Specialty Pharmacy

ACHC AccreditedThe Augusta University Medical Center Pharmacy specialty team is here to help with your personal medical needs. Our pharmacists are specialists in the medications that you are taking and we work with your physicians to ensure that you get the most benefit from your medication therapy. Through our personalized approach to care and condition-specific expertise, we are here to give you support as well as the engagement tools you need to stay on track for better overall health.

We take pride in educating our patients to the fullest extent and will work with you monthly to ensure you are taking your medication as prescribed and to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Our pharmacy is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. as well as Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. for pickup. We service patients in both Georgia and South Carolina and offer delivery free of charge to anywhere within the two states.

Ambulatory Services

Anticoagulation Clinic

The Augusta University Anticoagulation Clinic is here to help monitor and manage the medication(s) you take for blood thinning purposes.  Our clinic is located in the Medical Center on the first floor and is staffed by clinical pharmacists. The pharmacists, working in conjunction with your referring physician and a licensed practical nurse, will monitor your anticoagulation therapy. Learn more.

Carlos and Marguerite Mason Solid Organ Transplant Center

Since 1968, AU Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia has performed over 2400 kidney and kidney/pancreas transplants.  We provide transplant care to patients in Georgia, South Carolina, and throughout the southeast. Learn more.
