Patient-and-Family-Centered Care

The medical center at Augusta University is a pioneer in the concept of Patient-and Family-Centered Care, an approach that removes barriers and encourages collaborative partnerships between healthcare providers, patients and families. This means that we put patients and families first.

Need a wheelchair, or need help finding where to go? Just ask one of our Blue Coat Ambassadors or call 706-721-6045. Our fully accessible hospitals and clinics include our Blue Coat Ambassadors, who staff our welcome desks and are available at entrances to the Medical Office Building and hospitals to assist you.
