Medicine Practice Group

The Medicine Practice Site Patient Advisor group meets monthly to provide positive and constructive feedback through our observations, interactions, and encounters with the clinical, technical, and administrative staffs. Through face to face meetings, we work together with staff and administrators to forge functional and effective solutions to common patient concerns. Some of the examples of our accomplishments include adjusting the Rheumatology clinic hours and appointment times to reduce wait times, ensuring public safety officers are on-duty in the parking deck during late clinic hours, improving the billing process, and upgrading and improving the public restrooms. We welcome patients and their families to join our group and help formulate ideas for improvement so that together we can improve the level of Patient-and Family-Centered care in the Medicine Practice Site provides.
