- AU Health is the first hospital in Georgia to be granted a Level III Maternal Care Center Designation by the Georgia Department of Health.
- Augusta University Medical Center (AUMC) Trauma Program is designated an ACS Verified Adult Level 1 Trauma Center and Pediatric Level 2 Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
