Philosophy of Care

  • Many different diseases cause abnormal movements in our patients. Even patients with the same disease can have very different symptoms. Finally, how these symptoms actually affect the daily life and goals of a patient and family also require individualized attention.
  • Quality care for every patient truly is unique. The goal of a movement disorder specialist is to provide high quality care that fits each patient.

My wife and I are from Florida, and as we spent 8 years at the University of Florida, we became overt Gator fans. We enjoyed four years in Chicago for training but happily gravitated back down South. We are very excited to be in Augusta. We have three young children. Enjoying them and staying active occupies the bulk of my time when off Augusta University campus. We've been to Disney too many times. I enjoy playing tennis or pickup basketball and watching college football on Saturdays. My wife and I previously enjoyed travel before having kids!
