To serve as an Medical Center at Augusta University volunteer, you will be required to attend an orientation session and an interview. Patient Advisory Councils
Medical Center at Augusta University is recognized nationally for our groundbreaking work in Patient Family Centered Care. One of the primary components of this philosophy is our patient advisor program.  As one of the largest such programs in the country, Medical Center at Augusta University has more than 130 trained patient/family advisors who sit on councils, quality and safety teams, and facility design processes.  To learn more about our Patient Advisor Councils, click here.
