Dr. Leggio graduated from Emory University with a degree in psychology, earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, and stayed to complete her pediatric training. She was a resident when the Children’s Hospital opened in 1999. Dr. Leggio has been on faculty since 2000 working as a board-certified general pediatrician. She has a passion for educating not only her patients and families, but also medical students, residents and faculty. Her research focus has been on education. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and rescue dog, enjoying good food, reading for fun, and being in nature.
