Dr. George F. Harris, IV joined the Georgia Regents University Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery as Assistant Professor of Pediatric Otolaryngology in July 2012. 

Dr. Harris earned his medical degree from Loyola – Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois and completed his otolaryngology residency training and a two-year research fellowship at the University of Iowa.  He completed a comprehensive Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship in Charleston at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he focused on tertiary pediatric otolaryngologic care. 

Dr. Harris’ clinical interests include pediatric airway problems including laryngomalacia, subglottic stenosis, tracheal stenosis, laryngeal clefts, and laryngeal webs.  He has experience with pediatric airway reconstruction, pediatric hearing and ear diseases including pediatric cochlear implantation, pediatric sleep medicine, pediatric sinus disease, congenital neck masses, and vascular and lymphatic malformations.  His research interests include recurrent respiratory papillomatosis, outcomes after tracheostomy and airway reconstruction, and pediatric cochlear implantation.
