The Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery and the Children's Heart Center at Children's Hospital of Georgia provides state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic options for patients with all forms of congenital heart defects.
A comprehensive program with a specialized surgeon, cardiologists, neonatologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists and postoperative support groups are involved and dedicated to provide the best care for children with complex heart diseases.
Our center treats complete neonatal correction of complex congenital heart defects, including patients with:
- Atrioventricular Canal (AV Canal or AVC)
- Tetralogy of Fallot
- Total anomalous pulmonary venous return
- Transposition of the great arteries
- Truncus arteriosus
